About
My name is Phil Lembo. In my day job I help manage global directory services for a leading distribution company.
The rest of my time I try to maintain a semi-normal family life in the suburbs of Raleigh, NC.
In addition to over a decade of experience in Information Technology, I’ve had vendor training in a variety of software products and earned a few related computer systems certifications. My B.A. was in the Humanities and my M.A. in History. I also hold a J.D. degree.
This blog started out as a place for me to record notes and random musings about LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory services and identity management. Eventually I merged in articles from a separate blog dealing with more general computer systems administration topics. Eldapo is a nickname that refers to the protocol which for a long time pretty much defined my life.
